AKAPP Pro-Ductor

Important innovations offer you even more possibilities and efficiency!

AKAPP-STEMMANN realised some important innovations on the conductor bar system Pro-Ductor® . This system is used for safe and reliable transport of current and control signals to movable apparatus. Because of its typical flat form, it is a very suitable system for operating in (automated) warehouses.

Some important innovations:

The metal supporting profile can now reach free span of up to 3,3 metres. This eliminates the need of extra supporting points in most cases and so reduces the mounting time.
The carbon brushes of the collector trolley can be inspected more easily, which results in faster maintenance procedure.
The collector trolley can standard be used up to -30 °C , which is of great importance for e.g. deep freeze storages.
The cycle duty has been increased from 60% to 80%.
The terminal box, mounted on the collector trolley has been restyled. The box takes less height and is now made of steel. This increases the mechanical strength, in particular under freezing conditions.
Cables can be inserted from any side of the box. Apart from the standard cable glands M40 and M20, there are blind covered holes in the other 3 sides of the box, where cable glands can be mounted.
The terminal box and the supporting profile both has the same height. This makes adjusting of the collector trolley more easy. Certain swinging of the warehouse crane during its travelling is being eliminated by the unique spring construction of the trolley.

Some trolley types are now available for use with aisle changing cranes in high bay warehouses. These trolleys are fitted with a special designed running wheel construction.
